Installation information for arcadia®

Basic installation information and the tools you will need.

arcadia's® modular system can be installed using standard tools. Please observe the following instructions:

  • You will need a standard commercial bolt cutter to modify or cut the elements to size.
  • Clamping sleeves are used to connect the trellis supports and arch sections. Use a 3 mm hex key to tighten the screws on the clamping sleeves.
  • You will need our universal V2A 3 pc clamp set to secure the trellis mats between the trellis supports.
  • Use a 17 mm hex key to secure the galvanised universal clamps; for V2A screws use a 13 mm hex key; optionally you may use a socket wrench with the appropriate socket for both versions.
  • All you need to secure the elements to a wall are screws and dowels suitable for the type of wall you are using (stone, concrete, wood).
  • If you would like to permanently attach elements such as rose arches or gates in the ground, we recommend pouring a concrete foundation 30 - 40 cm deep for this purpose.
  • Under no circumstances should you use an angle grinder to separate or cut arcadia® elements, as this will damage the galvanised coating.
  • The recommended installation depths listed for the items refer to underground installation with a concrete foundation.
